Our First After-Show

Join Aaron, Kia, and Maddi in this laid-back post-Episode 9 hangout. The crew rewinds to the beginning, unpacking the origins of their characters, the chaos of Episode 1, and how far things have spiraled since. Kia drops some long-held secrets, and with Stephen MIA, we talk plenty of shit about him.

From behind-the-scenes chaos to secret backstories this unfiltered aftershow dives deep into the journey so far. Exclusive to our beloved Patreons.

Tale Craft Confessions: Episode 11 Recap

Join Aaron, Ben, Maddi & Kia in this very special (and very chaotic) Patreon-exclusive after show, where we recap Episode 11, derail and talk over the top of each other like true professionals.

Favourite moments, behind-the-scenes gossip, and zero structure. It's the only way we know how.

Episode 12 Recap 'Colon of Duty'

Join Aaron, Stephen (Timothee), and Kia (Wombella) as they dive into the chaos of Episode 12 while Ben and Maddi are off having babies. Expect Kia’s bizarre Oreo-eating confessions, a breakdown of the Collector’s dramatic demise, our DM’s priceless reactions, and because why not, a deep dive into everyone’s sexualities.

This unhinged after-show (much like the last two) was recorded before we even launched Patreon, back when we weren’t sure anyone would actually listen, so the fact that you are? Absolutely incredible. We’re so damn grateful for you, legends.

After Show Episode 13: Mortal Wombat

Welcome to Tale Craft Confessions! This one nearly didn’t make it to air, Jack’s. Our first attempt at recording the aftershow for Episode 13 was a dumpster fire. But most of us came crawling back for Round Two, and now you get the privilege of hearing all the raw, unfiltered verbal diarrhea as we try to make sense of Mortal Wombat.

We dig into the episode and, as usual, end up going knuckles deep in what exactly makes Kia do and say the things she does? There’s plenty of roasting each other, plus the added spice of this being our first recording together since Ben and Maddi (separately, not weirdly together) became new parents. So you also get a front-row seat to the hell they’re currently living through.

Stick around, it’s messy, it’s weird, but it's us. You love it.

After Show - Episode 14. Nice Try Diddy

Apologies in advance, in this unfiltered aftershow, the crew cracks open a bottle of wine and dives deep into our favourite episode, so far, episode 14. 'Nice Try Diddy'.

The team talks through the Scooby-Doo-style tunnel chase, monster relief therapy, and how every player somehow naturally makes our DM's job far more challenging. We lift the curtain on editing secrets and discuss how the story’s evolving, until we go completely off the rails and talk absolute shit.

Thanks again for your incredible ongoing support, join us in the Boar's Head Tavern on the Discord after listening and tell us your favourite moments of episode 14, and what's YOUR favourite episode of Bluey?

Tale Craft Confessions: Aftershow - Episode 15 'Hand Solo'

In this sleep-deprived aftershow, the crew gathers to unpack Episode 15.

Our DM reflects on the editing process, while Maddi provides an update on her battles with real-life baby aggression. The gang debates their favourite moments, and the DM's attempts to unalive Stephens character Timothee.

Plenty of derailments as we take a trip down memory lane and share the origin story of how Aaron tricked his coworkers into a D&D podcast. There’s heartfelt gratitude, for the growing Discord community, the global listeners, and the glorious ongoing shit storm that keeps this party rolling.

Feel free to drop in some listener questions for future episodes.

Tale Craft Confessions: Ep16. Chlamydia Springs

Welcome back to another recorded mess known as the Tale Craft Aftershow, where a portion of the cast sits down to unpack Episode 16, a soothing, healing episode of hot springs and fun facts about genitalia. In this aftershow, it becomes clear our DM needs to lay off the wine.

An anonymous source reported finding him passed out on the bathroom floor shortly after this one. But before that happens, Aaron is joined by Maddi (aka Misty Butt Plug) and Stephen as they rant about what happens to Timothee’s arm as an owl, Viola’s rapidly growing list of enemies, Grizzly’s testicles, and of course Patreon Max’s incredible guard voices.

The party begged for one peaceful episode only for Aaron to immediately rip it away. But could a $20 mind-reading certification be the answer to everything? Thanks for supporting us. Enjoy this raw, derailed, unapologetic debrief of Chlamydia Springs.

Tale Craft Confessions: Episode 17. Are You Some Kinda Stupid?

In this late-night, loosely controlled Aftershow, the crew unpacks Episode 17 and the beautiful shit show behind it. Aaron, Maddi, Kia and Ben jump in to relive the recording headaches, share our favourite moments, future predictions, and a good ol' Steve roasting.

Expect behind-the-scenes stories, favourite lines, and a peek at what’s coming as recordings move back to live sessions. Listener questions always welcome for future aftershows. Thanks once again for your incredible support, and as always, go fuck yourself, sincerely, Viola

Once upon a bench.png

Once on a park bench

I am waiting for a bus.

Sitting on a park bench with chocolates in hand, Grizzly Von Smoothcoat gives his “brief” retelling of Tale Craft so far. From screaming babies, toe-sucking wombats, and deadbeat dads, to organ sales, and chainsaw massacres.

It's random, simple, and most likely inaccurate, just very Grizzly.

As we near our one-year anniversary of Tale Craft Podcast, this little roadside recap is our way of saying thanks for being part of the journey. You never really know what you’re gonna get.
